Privacy policy

  1. General provisions

 

1.1. The present privacy policy sets out the rules for the protection of confidential information regarding Users, including personal data, by the administrator of such data, i.e. the entity operating the Store, hereinafter referred to as the Seller.

 

1.2 BJ Dystrybucja Budowlana with its registered office in Świerczewska 12, 71-066, Szczecin, PL, NIP: 9552045979, phone number 48787339362, e-mail biuro@bjdystrybucja.pl is the administrator of personal data processed in connection with the provision of electronic services.

 

1.3 The definitions included in the Store Regulations are applicable for the purpose of interpreting this document.

 

1.4. When running the Store, the Seller makes special efforts to protect Users' rights, in particular in the area of privacy protection and protection of information provided to the Seller and regarding Users. This information (including User's personal data) is duly protected, and Internet forms used for sending this information are protected by SSL security protocol, thanks to which the data transmission process is encrypted. Processing the Users' personal data, the Seller pays special attention to the fact that these data are protected against unauthorized access, unauthorized removal, processing in violation of applicable laws and their change, loss, damage or destruction.

 

  1. Personal data

 

2.1 When using the Store, the User may be asked to provide his personal data necessary to deliver services by the Seller:

 

  1. a)  during registration in the Store (name and surname or company name, delivery address, telephone number, e-mail address)
  2. b) when admitting willingness to use the Newsletter service (e-mail address),
  3. c) when making on order (name and surname or company name, delivery address, telephone number, e-mail address).

 

2.2. Providing any personal data by the User is voluntary. Providing the data mentioned in point 2.1. is necessary for the purposes set out in point 2.4.

 

2.3 Users can browse the Shop and offers contained in it without prior registration and provide personal data.

 

2.4 Personal data of Users who are natural persons (including natural persons running a sole proprietorship) will be processed by the Seller as the personal data administrator in order to provide services by the Seller via the Store, as well as for marketing purposes related to the functioning of the Store, including services and goods presented in the Store. With regard to personal data of Users who register in the Store using access data originating, e.g. from Allegro or making purchases of goods or services in the Store using access data, for example from PayU, the Seller receives these data - respectively - from the Allegro Group or PayU, with the consent Users and to  the extent necessary for the Seller to achieve the objectives set out above. The processing of collected data takes place in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 29 August 1997 on the protection of personal data and the Act of 18 July 2002. on providing electronic services. Providing your personal data by you is voluntary.

 

2.5 The User's personal data may be made available to entities authorized to receive them under applicable law, including the competent judicial authorities. Users' personal data may also be transferred or disclosed - to an indispensable and required extent - to third parties, including entities performing, at the request of the Seller, activities related to the Agreement concluded with the Purchaser, including operators servicing electronic payments for concluded Agreements or entities performing deliveries of ordered goods. Users' personal data (including their e-mail addresses) may also be disclosed by the DreamCommerce Seller in connection with the Store being operated by the Seller, including in connection with the performance by DreamCommerce of the activities resulting from the agreement between the Seller and DreamCommerce, enabling the Seller to use from tools used to run the Store.

 

2.6. The Seller provides Users whose personal data are processed, the implementation of rights under the Personal Data Protection Act, including the right to access personal data and their correction, and the right to control the processing of personal data on the terms described in this Act.

 

2.7 As a part of implementation the right to control the processing of own personal data, the User has the right to submit a written, motivated request to stop processing his data due to his special situation, and to object to the processing of his data when the Seller processes them when it is necessary to fulfill legally justified goals pursued by the Seller, or when the Seller intends to process them for marketing purposes, or to provide the Seller with the personal data of the User other than the Seller to the data administrator.

 

2.8. Confidential information about Users, including Users' personal data, is protected by the Seller before they are made available to unauthorized persons, as well as other cases of their disclosure or loss and destruction or unauthorized modification of indicated data and information through the use of appropriate technical and organizational security.

 

  1. Mailing

 

3.1 Users have the option of receiving commercial information from the Seller in the form of mailing. These can be, for example, information about sales or new products in the store.

 

3.2. In order to receive mailing, you have to agree to receive commercial information during registration in the store. The User may at any time withdraw consent to receive commercial information by clicking on the link placed in the contents of the message sent as part of the mailing.

 

3.3. The Seller makes efforts to send messages as a part of the mailing not more often than necessary and not to encumber the User's e-mail account.

 

 

  1. Newsletter

 

4.1 If the Newsletter service is available in the Store, Users who are not Buyers (Users who have not registered in the Store) may use this service by completing the newsletter subscription form, available on the Store's websites and agreeing to s commercial information.

 

4.2 The resignation from receiving information in the newsletter is possible by filling out the subscription form of the newsletter on the Store's websites, as well as by clicking on the link available in the sent message (newsletter).

 

  1. Cookies

 

5.1. In order to adapt the Online Store to the individual needs of the Users, the website uses cookies - small text files containing information saved by the server on the User's computer (or other device used to use the Internet). Session cookies refer to the User's activity during a specific session of the browser and are deleted when closed. Persistent cookies remain on the User's computer and activate when they open the Online Store website. Obtained in this way information (IP address, domain name, browser type, operating system type, demographic data) are used only for security purposes, technical purposes related to server administration, configuration of the online store, statistical and marketing purposes.

 

5.2. Cookies do not collect personal data or confidential information from the User's computer (or other device used to access the Internet), they also do not introduce dangerous software to the User's computer.

 

5.3 By changing the browser settings, the user may at any time disable the option of accepting cookies, however this may cause difficulties or prevent the use of certain services.
