FAST BARANEK a thin-layer silicate plastering mix
A thin-layer, silicate plastering mix
FAST BARANEK S is used for hand-made, thin-layer mortars outside the building. It can be used on any mineral surface that is adequately strong and even (cement, cement-lime plasters, concrete, reinforced layer in the ETICS FAST S and FAST W thermal insulation system).
FAST BARANEK S is a ready to use product based on potassium water glass and acrylic dispersion supplied in the form of a paste. It is characterized by increased resistance to atmospheric pollution, high durability and washability. It is vapor-permeable and hydrophobic. Supplied in a rich color palette FAST COLOR SYSTEM. It contains elements eliminating the growth of algae and fungi on the surface of the plaster.
A bucket - 15 kg
Preparation of the surface
The surface should be even, strong and dry, free from all kinds of contaminants that reduce the adhesion of the mortar, i.e. dust, lime, grease, remains of old paint coatings. In order to reinforce a weak surface, a suitable primer on the basis of water glass must be applied before the primer. Always use FAST GRUNT S-T to compensate absorptivity and increase adhesion.
Plaster mass can be applied to surfaces such as:
• cement and cement-lime plasters (after a minimum of 28 days from the accomplishment and humidity not higher than 4%) primed with FAST GRUNT S-T
• concrete (after a minimum of 3 months from the accomplishment and humidity not higher than 4%) primed with FAST GRUNT S-T
• the layer in the insulation system reinforced with mesh, on the FAST SPECJAL W mortar and primed with FAST GRUNT S-T over 3 days from the
Preparation and use
Before applying the plaster, the contents of each package should be mixed using a low-speed drill in order to equalize the consistency. In case of too dry mass, it is permissible to add FAST GRUNT S in the amount of 100 to 150 g. On previously prepared and primed surface, apply a plaster mass in a thin layer, in the thickness of the grain, using a stainless steel trowel. After a short time depending on the conditions during the time of application, we can shape it using a plastic trowel. Apply the plaster with circular moves. When applying the plaster, we adhere to the general rule by applying "wet on wet". It is also possible to apply the plaster using the spray method, which significantly reduces the cost and time of application. Details on the exact technology are available at www.fast.zgora.pl or from technical representatives.
Tools and container should be clean. When applying and drying the plaster, observe the appropriate atmospheric conditions, i.e. the temperature of the surface and the environment from + 8 ° C to + 25 ° C, lack of strong sunlight, rain and too high relative humidity above 75%. The drying time of the plaster at an optimum temperature of + 20 ° C is from 12 to 48 hours.

Storage and comments
Store in factory-sealed packages in dry rooms at temperature + 5 ° C up to + 25 ° C.
Before applying the product, please confirm the color conformity with the order. After the product has been applied, complaints about color will not be considered.
o In order to avoid differences in shades on one architectural surface, the application should be carried out without interruption, using plaster packages, previously mixed with each other in a large container.
o The content of potassium water glass requires protection against any elements sensitive to high alkalinity such as glass, PVC, metal and wood.
o Too low temperature and high air humidity prevailing both during plaster application and drying can significantly increase binding of the binder, thus increasing the risk of discoloration on the plastered surface.
o Until it dries completely, protect the plaster against adverse weather phenomena by means of scaffolding-mounted covers.
The recommended scope of use of the product or the method of implementation does not exempt the contractor from performing works in accordance with the construction arts and health and safety rules. P.W. FAST guarantees and bears responsibility for the quality of the product, while it does not affect the way it is used and the conditions in which it was used. All technical data have been measured under normal conditions, i.e. at + 20 ° C and 60% relative humidity. In the case of other conditions than the above, the drying time may change, i.e. lengthen or shorten.
