FAST KORNIK a fine polymer-mineral painting plaster 25kg
fine polymer-mineral plaster with bark structure
FAST KORNIK is used for manual application of fine, thin layer plastering inside and outside the building. It can be used on any mineral surface that is strong and even enough (cement plaster, cement-lime plaster, concrete, reinforced layer in ETICS FAST S and FAST W thermal insulation systems).
FAST KORNIK is a dry mineral mixture with the addition of selected quartz aggregate and plasticizers facilitating the application and adhesion of the plastering mortar to the surface. It is characterized by high vapour permeability and high resistance to water after complete bonding. It does not contain free lime.
25 kg bag
The surface should be even, strong and dry, free from all kinds of impurities that reduce the adhesion of the mortar, i.e. dust, lime, grease, remains of old painting coats. In order to reduce the absorbency, the surface should be primed with one of FAST's primers. FAST GRUNT M should always be primed before each application to increase plaster adhesion, regardless of the type of the surface.
The plaster mortar can be applied to following surfaces:
cement and cement-lime plasters (after a minimum of 28 days from application and humidity not higher than 4%) primed FAST GRUNT M
concrete (more than 3 months from application and humidity not more than 4%) primed FAST GRUNT M
gypsum substrates (humidity < 1%) primed FAST GRUNT G and FAST GRUNT M
layer in the insulation system reinforced with mesh, made on FAST SPECJAL mortar and primed FAST GRUNT M more than 3 days
Preparation and use
Mix the entire contents of the bag thoroughly mechanically with about 5.0 litres of clean water until a homogeneous paste of the desired consistency is obtained. Leave this mixture for about 10 minutes and stir thoroughly again (do not add water), use within 1 hour. Apply a thin layer (to the grain thickness) of the previously prepared and primed substrate with a stainless steel float. After a short time, depending on the conditions occurring at the time of application, we can start invoicing it with a plastic float. The plaster should be applied round. While applying the plaster, we follow the general rule by applying "wet on wet". If the plaster thickens during application, mix it again intensively without adding water.
The tools and container should be clean. During plaster application and drying, observe appropriate atmospheric conditions, i.e. substrate and ambient temperature from +5°C up to +25°C, lack of strong sunlight, rain and too high relative air humidity above 75%. The plaster drying time at an optimal temperature of +20°C is 12 to 36 hours. Painting of plaster with silicate paints can start after drying, but not earlier than 3 days. Silicone paints can be applied after 14 and siloxane and acrylic paints after a minimum of 28 days.

The recommended scope of application of the product or the method of application does not relieve the contractor from carrying out the work in accordance with the construction works and health and safety rules. P.W. FAST guarantees and is responsible for the quality of the product, but has no influence on the way it is used and the conditions under which it was used. All technical data were measured under normal conditions, i.e. +20°C and air humidity of 60%. In the case of conditions other than the above, the drying time may change, i.e. it may be longer or shorter.
